Overview
Don't spend too much time reading! Act:MediaLooks Playout SDK is designed for multimedia developers to create professional tv playout software precisely tuned to their requirements. The key features are seamless switching between files, support for various file types and video parameters, the ability to overlay text, graphics and Flash animation over the video.
The played out media can be output to a device (such as Blackmagic Design, Bluefish 444 or AJA), to a DV camera or streamed to Windows Media Services. This can be done either selectively or simultaneously.
A ready-to-use playout automation solution is provided for several development environments. These applications can either be modified and re-distributed or deployed as is at your broadcasting facilities.
